Sheila Ellen Rogers (Miller) passed away at her home in Penacook, NH on July 23, 2022, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. She was born on September 17, 1955 in Worcester, MA to Samuel E. Miller and Janette P. Miller (Weagle). She lived in the Worcester area until 1999, when she relocated to New Hampshire with her husband and children.
Sheila was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was the epitome of family oriented, loving traditional family dinners, birthday celebrations, and milestones. She was a doting grandmother any child would be lucky to have, cherishing every baby like it was the first and only. Sheila was a kind, affectionate, loving, funny, and hard working woman. She believed in living every moment to its fullest, telling people how much they meant to you, staying true to your beliefs, respecting veterans and always thanking them for their service, saying please and thank you, and always saying, “I love you,” before you leave.
Sheila leaves behind her beloved husband, Glenn Rogers of Penacook. They spent 42 years making memories, traveling the country, and raising children. They enjoyed riding their motorcycles together, camping in Vermont with their friends and family, restoring classic cars, tending to their pool and garden, and setting a beautiful example of what marriage should be.
She also leaves behind her children and grandchildren: Gina and Jonathan Sandlin, and their children, Samuel and Evelyn of Warner; Corey and Carrie Rogers, and their children, Autumn, Marley, and Marcus, and Corey’s son Tyler Gay, of Penacook; Leigh-Ann and Ron Allard, and their daughter Katelynn of CT; Donnie and Karen Rogers and their children, Daniel, Alex, and Shawn of MA; and Misty and Scott Bennett, their children, Bradley and Samantha, and grandchildren Lexi and Leah of CT. She leaves behind her loving siblings, Tammy Miller, Valerie and Steve Zuidema, and Diane Fosgate of MA, and Jim Miller of TN, as well of dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and some dear friends, Joe Gionet of Penacook, Maryanne White of FL, Dennis Ryder, Pati and Gibb Jones of VA, and Julie Cate of Webster.
There will be no public calling hours, as she did not wish to have a wake, nor funeral. She asked that her loved ones remember her at her best and have a party to celebrate her life. There will be a celebration on her birthday, September 17, 2022, at Sheila and Glenn’s home in Penacook.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rogers Family, to help with medical and living expenses for Glenn, Autumn, Marley, and Marcus, at www.gofundme.com/rogersfamilymemorialfund. Most importantly, please keep Sheila’s loved ones in your prayers and continue to keep in touch.
