Sheldon Carey Foote

Sheldon Carey Foote, 48, of Manchester, NH passed away at Elliot Hospital on December 31, 2023. Born in Plattsburgh, NY, he was a son of Gary and Dolores (Buckley) Foote.

Sheldon was raised in a military family and spent his childhood living in New York, England and Idaho before eventually settling in Manchester, NH in 1982. He was a 1996 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School. He was employed at Wal-Mart in Hooksett and worked in shipping and receiving. In his spare time, Sheldon was involved with the Manchester deaf community and enjoyed cooking, games, and the companionship of his dog.

Sheldon is survived by his mother, Dolores Buckley of Manchester; his siblings, Derek Foote and his wife Anna of Henniker, Carey Foote of Hawaii, and his step brother, Charles Foote of Oklahoma; his aunts and uncles including Meleta Baker and her husband Dan of Maine, Mark Crimmins-Murdock and his wife Marianna of Vermont, David Foote and John Foote of Florida, William Buckley and his wife Paiwen of South Carolina, Maryann Orchard of Arizona, Helen Buckley of South Carolina, and Cecilia Peckar of New York; his nieces and nephews, Corey, Demetri, Athena, Gavyn and Starr Foote, Alyssa (Cay) Martinez; his great-nephew, Hunter Bowes; as well as cousins, extended family members, and friends. Sheldon was predeceased by his father, Gary Foote, and his aunt, Kathleen Deal.

Services will be held on Monday, January 8^th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11AM-12PM with a service in the funeral home chapel at 12PM. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester, NH.
