Sherrie left this world peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on August 10, 2022 of natural causes. She was born on May 22, 1932 to Richard and Mary Louise Philips in Evansville, IN. She graduated from Benjamin Bossey High School in Evansville, IN. After high school she resided in Ringwood, NJ and later settled in and around Concord, NH, most recently Vintage Hill Assisted Living in Pittsfield, NH. She retired from Beede Electric in 2002. She was a member of Granite State Baptist Church in Concord. Sherri was devoted to her faith and loved to travel. She was able to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams of traveling to Jerusalem to see and walk where Jesus walked. She was very social and for many years enjoyed visiting with friends, as well as those in nursing homes or unable to leave their homes. She always loved family gatherings and was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband William A. Roberts, her children; Shannon Noonan and her husband Tom, Shirley Tetreault and her husband Bob, Fred Seekamp and his wife Noelle. Her grandchildren; Heather Sage, Jay Jorgensen, Jaime Vezina, Jennifer Oglesby, Ryan Vezina, Sadie Seekamp, Fredrick Seekamp, and Rosie Seekamp, 6 great grandchildren, her sister Susan Van Hoek, many nieces, nephews and friends. Her husband’s children; Marilyn Roberts, Janice Roberts, and Steve Roberts his wife Gayle and their children; Heidi Beamen and her husband Nate their children, Jack and Kate, Becky Pond and her husband Tyler and their daughter Olivia.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Jackie Haines.
There are no public calling hours. There will be a private graveside ceremony at the NH Veterans Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of Life which will be held at the Granite State Baptist Church 236 Sheep Davis Rd, Concord, NH on Friday August 19, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Pastor Peter Chamberlain.
