SHIRLEY CAMPBELL

WHITEFIELD, NH  Shirley (Johnson) Campbell, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Morrison Nursing Home.

Shirley was born on March 14, 1912, a daughter to Albert V. and Agnes (Knowles) Johnson in West Concord, NH. She was a graduate of Concord High School in 1930.

Shirley was employed by the State of New Hampshire, Department of Resources and Economic Development in offices at Cannon Mountain, Franconia Notch, and Concord, NH. She was a charter member of the State Employees Association and retired in 1970 after 35 years of state service. Shirley was a member of the Littleton First Congregational Church and its Ladies Society. She was a member and officer of the Littleton Chapter of the AARP. For many years she was a seasonal resident of Streeter Pond in Sugar Hill, NH.

Surviving family members include a stepson, Malcolm A. Campbell of Fallon, NV and a nephew, Robert W. and wife, Ruth Johnson of Venice, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Earle L. Campbell, her parents, a brother, Robert E. Johnson, and a nephew, Richard Johnson.

SERVICES  At the request of the family, all services will be private.
