Shirley Jane (Densberger) Huot, 93, passed away on March 1, 2025, surrounded by the immense love of those who loved her and whom she loved back. She was born on August 16, 1931 in Allenstown, PA to the late Oscar Densberger and Pearl Woods and raised in Buffalo, NY where she attended school. She would marry Mr. Hoy who passed away, with whom she shared 2 children and then later Shirley remarried Wilfred A. Huot.
Shirley was Ma to many, and just about a Nana to all. She prided herself on raising children of her own, as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children, keeping up with three jobs and raising her family. Once she was retired, she spent her days gardening, cooking, baking and listening to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly.
Her family’s presence brought her the most joy. She had an exuberant energy about her that made anyone she met feel a fire in their soul. Shirley was a devoted catholic who took pride in her faith and was a devout parishioner of the Parish of Transfiguration in Manchester, NH. In her spare time she enjoyed an array of music a good walk out doors on a sunny day. She was happiest when simply in the company of her family. She portrayed a love and understanding for people like no other she always made you feel seen and heard. She only ever wanted the best for everyone, and she poured her love into all those she knew.
Shirley is survived by her children Kathleen, Linda and Allison; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sons Dirk and Curtis and her late first husband Mr. Hoy and second husband Wilfred A. Huot.
Calling Hours for Shirley will be held on Friday, March 7th from 6 PM to 8 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
