Shirley H. Lemay

Mrs. Shirley H. Lemay, 71, of Manchester, NH died July 31, 2007 at Hanover Healthcare in Manchester following a period of declining health. She was born on July 10, 1936 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Joseph Champagne and Roseanna (Malanfant) Champagne Boudreau. She was educated in the Manchester school system. She was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Lemay was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She had a great love for her family and children. Throughout the years she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had also enjoyed working at a day care over the years. Mrs. Lemay was an avid bingo player, enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed going to the beach, listening to music and having a good cup of coffee. She is survived by her 4 sons, Mark Lemay of Manchester, Michael Lemay of Manchester, David Lemay of Stauton, VA and Robert Lemay of Manchester; 4 daughters, Pauline Haworth of Manchester, Lorraine Paris of Manchester, Lynda Loughlin of Orlando, FL and Diane Richer of Strafford, NH, step brothers, Robert and William Boudreau both of Dunbarton, NH; sister, Lorraine Whitter of South Carolina; 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In Her Life: She was predeceased by her step father, George Boudreau Sr.; her daughter, Patricia Coons; brother Roger Champagne; sister, Rosemarie Hickman and her grandson, Michael Lemay. Calling Hours are on Friday from 10AM to 12PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, on the corner of Union St, Manchester. Her Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
