Sidney H. Duperon, Jr., 63, died Monday, October 29, 2007, at Elliot Hospital, in Manchester.
Mr. Duperon was born on September 3, 1944, in Manchester, the son of the late Sidney H. and Dora (Stone) Duperon, Sr. He was a resident of Hooksett for the past 10 years. Prior to this he resided in Goffstown.
He was employed with Bonneville & So, Inc Kia with 13 years of service in the maintenance department.
Mr. Duperon was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, #290. He enjoyed country music and dancing. Mr. Duperon was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed camping and fishing. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Members of his family include, his 3 children, Sidney H. Duperon, III, Pamela Packard and David Duperon, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Genevieve Bramhall, Shirley McKinley, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
IN HIS LIFE: In addition to his family, other family members include; his 2 daughter-in-laws, Melissa Duperon, Jenn Duperon, his son-in-law, Greg Packard, 6 grandchildren, James, Sara, Carrie, Brittnay, Sidney IV and Kimberly, 4 great grandchildren, Brianna, Kiara, Rayne and Destiny. He leaves his long time best friend, Sue Hines, and former wife, Marie Duperon-Preneveau. Mr. Duperon was predeceased by his sister, Lucy Duperon. Sid loved life and he brought a smile to everyoneâs face. His favorites were Nascar Dale Earnhardt Sr, & Jr., and Dunkin Donuts. He loved spending time with his 2 dogs, Zeus and Zoey. He had his own way of talking to people, âBahâ, âNahâ and âYup Yupâ.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 2, from 2 â 4 P.M. and 7 â 9 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 A.M. at Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace Street, in Manchester. Ennichement will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Duperon.
