Simone LeBel

Simone LeBel, a lifelong resident of Manchester,NH in her 100th year passed away on December 28, 2013 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Arthur LeBel who passed away in 1980.

Simone had a love for sewing, dancing, reading, music and baking but most of all spending time with her family.

Loving mother of Arthur E. LeBel Jr. and his wife Lucielle of Merrimack, Pauline LeBel Mondor of Bedford, Sr. Diane LeBel, S.C.S.H. of Manchester, and Carole Hodgdon and her husband Earl of Manchester. Loving Memre` of sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Simone was also survived by five sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by three brothers and three sisters.

Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave. Manchester on Sunday, January 5th from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Complimentary valet parking will be provided. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Manchester on Monday, January 6th at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Simone's memory to the Easter Seals of NH, 555 Auburn St. Manchester, NH 03103.
