Simone O'Rourke, 89, of Manchester, NH died April 9, 2008 at Hanover Hill Health Care in Manchester. She was born on March 31, 1919 in Manchester the daughter of the late Eugene and Louisa (Tremblay) Levesque. She was raised and educated in Manchester. She graduated from Holy Angels High School. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality. Mrs. O'Rourke was a foster mother for Catholic Charities for many years. Surviving family members include her 2 sons, Donald O'Rourke of Manchester, NH and William O'Rourke of Manchester; daughter, Judith Crete of Manchester, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Maurice Levesque of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Henry O'Rourke who died in 1975 and her son, James O'Rourke. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, on Sunday from 5-8PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00AM at St. Anthony Church, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
