Soultana (Randou) Gatzoulis, 99, of 400 Island Way, Clearwater, FL, died December 2, 2001 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. She was born in Pentalofos, Greece on February 17, 1902, the daughter of Fr. Christos and Stamou Gatzoulis and moved to Manchester when she was sixteen. She was a founding member and active with the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. She was also a lifelong member of the Pan Macedonian Society and the Philoptochos Society. She was the widow of Nicholas Gatzoulis who died in 1964. She had been a resident of Clearwater where she lived with her daughter since 1997. Family members include one daughter, Anthie Alexiou of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church on Thursday morning at 11:30 with Fr. Peter Kyriakos officiating.
