Stavros Soulios, 56, of Hooksett, NH died March 22, 2008 at his home in Hooksett surrounded by his loving family following a long illness. He was born on June 14, 1951 in Milea Metsovou Greece the son of the late Elias and Zoe (Mageras) Soulios. He was educated in Greece. He came to the US in June of 1969. He was a resident of Hooksett for the past seven years. Previously he lived in Manchester. When Stavros first came to Manchester he worked for his uncle at the Athens restaurant. From 1977 to 1980 he worked at Felton Brush in Manchester. Most recently he had worked for Anheuser Busch in Merrimack for 15 years until his illness made it impossible to continue. He was part owner of Candia House of Pizza. IN His Life: He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Xanthi (Plahoura) Soulios of Hooksett; his children, Elias Soulios, Zoe Soulios, Milton Soulios, Adam Soulios and Maria Soulios all of Hooksett; siblings, Niki Pontidis and her husband Kostas of Manchester, Demetrios Soulios and his wife Kathy and their children Andrea, Cassie and Eliana and Bessie Gamas and her husband George and their children, Demetrios, Elias and Plato, many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Greece and his cousin and family in Hooksett. His Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, corner of Union St, Manchester on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM with the Trisagion Service at 6:00 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
