Stella M. (Fecteau) Tremblay

Manchester

Stella M. (Fecteau) Tremblay, 84, of Manchester, NH, passed away on January 15, 2025. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 8, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Gerard and Theresa Fecteau and had been a resident of Berlin, NH until her marriage to the late Robert O. Tremblay in 1962. She became a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH.

Stella was a very hard worker all through her life. At a young age, she helped her father deliver milk to the local residents of Berlin, NH. She was always a mother figure from the beginning, helping to care for her four siblings and her own five children. She graduated in 1959 from Notre Dame High School and attended Our Lady of Mountain Academy in Gorham, NH for one year prior to Notre Dame High School. Stella worked as a stocker at a local hospital in Berlin, NH prior to her marriage. She also worked at Elliot Hospital and Catholic Medical Center, in the cafeteria, Chemfab as a twister for a short period of time, and St. Peter’s Daycare Center. 

Stella enjoyed playing the piano, reading, search a word puzzles, cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing and fill in puzzles. She was a big Bruins fan and an animal lover. She cared for many cats, dogs, and birds in her lifetime. 

Family members include daughters Rachel Tremblay of Manchester, NH, Anne-Marie Tremblay of Manchester, NH, sons Robert Tremblay of Greenville, NH, Francois Page and his wife Donna and their children Audrey and Jackson of Bedford, NH, and Paul Tremblay of Manchester, NH; her siblings, Richard Fecteau and wife Loretta of Berlin, NH, Rolande Fecteau and family friend Lillian Poulin of Rhode Island, Marcel Fecteau and wife Irene of Berlin, NH, Gerard Fecteau, Jr. and wife Debbie of Milan, NH; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Tremblay, and her sister, Monique Fecteau.

Stella’s family would like to thank the staff of Home Health & Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided.
