Stephanie St. Onge passed away unexpectedly on February 17th, 2024 at the age of 53 in Manchester, NH, her beloved hometown where she was born on January 17th, 1971. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. Desmarais and Yvette M. Desmarais (Boisvert).

 

Stephanie was known for her infectious energy and vibrant personality, which illuminated every room she entered. In her youth, she cherished outdoor adventures with loved ones, dancing to music, and indulging in her passion for crafting. Her quirky spirit and warm demeanor could brighten anyone's day, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

 

Stephanie shared a special bond with her loyal companion, Electra, with whom she enjoyed countless walks in the park and basking in the sun's rays on lazy afternoons. She adored her family, especially her sister Colette, with whom she created cherished memories during trips to the beach.

 

An avid artist, Stephanie found solace and joy in painting, a hobby that quickly became her favorite pastime. She poured her heart into each masterpiece, delighting in sharing her artwork with family and friends, spreading joy and inspiration wherever she went.

 

Family was paramount to Stephanie, and she treasured every moment spent with her daughter, Kathleen St. Onge-Garon, son, Dylan McCarty, and her extended family. She had a deep connection with her best friend and lifelong companion, Rick Caillouette, with whom she shared 28 years of love and laughter.

 

Stephanie's love for holidays was evident in her enthusiasm for capturing every moment with her camera, ensuring that every memory was preserved for generations to come. Her zest for life, unwavering love, and genuine kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 

Stephanie is survived by her devoted companion, Rick Caillouette of Newton, NH; her loving daughter, Kathleen St. Onge-Garon and husband, Mark Garon of Manchester, NH; her cherished son, Dylan McCarty of Manchester, NH; siblings, Colette Desmarais, Roland Desmarais and wife, Irene Desmarais, all of Manchester, NH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins, and a multitude of friends.

 

A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local food pantry or church in Stephanie's memory.

 

Stephanie will forever be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for life, and her enduring impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
