Stephen R. DeNutte

Stephen R. DeNutte, 51, of 214 Green Street, died January 12, 2002 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. He was born in Manchester on February 9, 1950, the son of the late Wilfred DeNutte and Nora (Sullivan) Grignon of Tilton and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was a graduate of Memorial High School and attended White Pines College. He had been employed by Excel Building Systems until his illness. He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed rock climbing, hicking and fishing. He was an accomplished fly fisherman and spent many hours tying his own flies. Family members, in addition to his mother, include four brothers, Daniel DeNutte and Wayne DeNutte, both of Manchester, Robert DeNutte of Tilton and Marshall DeNutte of VT; and several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Prior to cremation, calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 PM. There are no scheduled funeral services.
