Stephen Lucas, 58, of Hooksett, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on May 20, 2011.
He was born in Manchester on October 24, 1952, the son of Thomas and Androniki (Tsetseranos) Lucas and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He owned and operated Lucas Auto Body Shop for over 35 years. His passion was playing golf and he was a member of the Beaver Meadow Country Club in Concord. He loved to travel, watch Boston sports, and go to Mohegan Sun, Las Vegas, and Aruba. He was also fanatic about maintaining his yard and lawn.
In His Life: Family members include his wife of 21 years, Charlene (Macrenaris) Lucas; his mother of Manchester; a daughter, Sarah McGrath and her husband Philip of Merrimack; two step-sons, Charles Blais of Auburn and Troy Corey of Hooksett; five grandchildren, Griffin, Mackenzie, Lucas, Cameron, and Brianna; a sister, Brenda Channen and her husband David of Merrimack; and his Cairn Terrier, Theo. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Lundy, Baribeau and Westbrook as well as to Charlene Forcier for their compassionate care.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM.
