Steven A. Baron

Steven A. Baron, 51, of Contoocook, NH passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in the comfort and familiarity of his own home with loving family by his side.

Steven was born in Concord, the son of John A. Baron and Dawn L. (Carr) Hartwell. He was raised in Contoocook and graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1984. Following graduation he enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country as a diesel mechanic until he was honorably discharged. Later in life he opened his own custom framing business, Hall Of Frames. Steven enjoyed spending time outdoors, specifically gardening, camping, and fishing. He also liked making crafts, attending cookouts, visiting the ocean, and he loved celebrating his birthday.

Steven is survived by his mother, Dawn Baron Hartwell; his sister Linda and her husband, David White; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by wife, Carol (Janysik) Baron; his father, John Baron; his brother, Mark Baron; and his grandparents, Byron and Edith Carr.

Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, July 21st 11:00am-1:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. For more information please go to www.phanuef.net.
