Steven Joseph Slemp, also known as "Honey Bear" and Ralph, 46, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on December 27, 2020.
Steven was born in Manchester December 21, 1974 to Joseph J. and Kathy (Martin) Slemp and he attended Manchester Central High School.
He was a maintenance worker at Cawley Middle School and enjoyed fishing, casinos, buffets, and road trips. He also loved going to Amusement parks, specifically Canobie Lake Park. Most of all he loved going to concerts, especially his favorite band Motley Crue. Riding his Harley was his pride and joy, and he enjoyed his $12 double dates. The most important thing to Steven was family and friends, and he was a grateful friend of Bill W. His daughter and grandchildren were his heart and soul.
Steven is survived by his parents, Joseph and Kathy Slemp, AKA "George" and "Mafa", of Hooksett; his sister, Stephanie and brother in-law, Ronald Ferland Jr. of Allenstown; his daughter, Skylar Charland and her fiancé, Thomas Jones of Milford; his beautiful grandchildren, Isabella, Adalyn, Emmett, and Theodore; his niece, Lauren Ferland, whom he adored; his grandfather, Gerald Gilbert of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and lastly, the love he waited his entire life for, "Jessica J" of Concord. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur and Helen Martin and Germaine Gilbert.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a gathering Friday, January 1st, 2021 11:00am-2:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, followed by an open period of remembrance beginning at 2:00 where attendees will have an opportunity to share stories and memories.
