Susan Mary Brewer

Susan Mary Brewer, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on June 7, 2023, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was born in Manchester, NH, to the late Robert and Anne Boulton.

Susan shared 38 years of marriage with her husband, Steve Brewer. They met when Susan worked in Dallas, TX, were united in marriage and later settled in New Hampshire. Together, they created a warm and loving home that became the center of cherished family memories.  Susan’s impact on her family’s lives was nothing short of remarkable.  Her love, compassion, and unwavering support knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family. 

Susan was raised in Manchester, NH, and graduated from Central High School. She went on to pursue her passion for education and dedicated many years as a teacher in Peterborough, NH, positively impacting the lives of countless students.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Susan enjoyed various hobbies, including: Pilates, golf, boating, pickleball, and traveling. Her family brought her immense joy, and she treasured spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. The love and devotion Susan showered upon her grandchildren will forever be treasured. Susan's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Steve Brewer; her three sons: Blaine Brewer and his wife, Angela; Jeffrey Brewer; and Will Brewer; her sister, Bobbi Garr; her cherished grandchildren, Banks and Sterling Brewer; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 4-6PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral service to celebrate Susan's life will follow the visitation at 6PM in the funeral home.

Burial service will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH.
