Susan C Clement (Belanger), 70, of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.

Mrs. Clement was born on March 7th, 1955, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Andrew J Belanger and Charlotte (Breton) Belanger. Susan spent her career working at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in various positions, from nursing to activities director, with a short time working at the New Hampshire state women’s prison as a guard. Susan also started her working career doing various duties at the family Diner Andy’s Drive in, in New Boston. Susan spent a great portion of her life dedicating her time to local organizations and charities. Susan was the State President of NH VFW Lady’s Auxiliary. She also spent time as a Columbiettes with the Knights of Columbus and served as the president of the ladies auxiliary for the Alpine Club of Manchester, with various positions, like president for the snow shoers club at the Alpine Club.

Susan’s greatest love and dedication was to the American Cancer society where she hosted multiple functions to combat this horrific disease. Susan’s life was filled with love, laughter and generosity, to whoever crossed her path; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Paul R Clement and her life partner Gordon (Tom) Searles.

Susan is survived by her son Paul A Clement and his wife Cassandra Clement (Rowe) of Manchester; her mother of New Boston; a stepson Joseph Fredette and Debbie Cazares of Manchester; her brothers Andrew Belanger and partner Michelle (Beam) Vranorsey of New Boston, Edward Belanger of Weare, Kenneth Belanger of Palm Bay Florida, and Brian Belanger and his wife Samantha of Goffstown; sisters, Jeanne Mudrick and her husband David of New Boston Dianne Roy and her husband Mark of Goffstown; and Joyce Etheredge and her husband Tim of Dunbarton; along with many nieces, nephews, and great nephews and nieces that she adored.

Her lovingness and kind heart touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Monday, July 21st from 4 to 6 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 PM.
