Susan Marie Voisine, 59, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Susan was born in Manchester on May 21, 1964 to the late Gerard and Barbara Poirier and was primarily raised in Merrimack. She met the love of her life, Kevin, on a blind date and although it was not love at first sight, they quickly realized they were meant to be together. Settling in Manchester, they started a family of their own and have since shared over 32 years of marriage.
Susan worked lunches at The Yard Restaurant for many years. Susan retired to embrace a new title and chapter of life as Memere. She cared for her grandchildren full-time. Susan loved to craft. She spent many hours making house decor, birthday decorations, blankets and much more. She enjoyed blueberry picking, going camping, whale watches and most of all- spending time with her family.
Along with her husband Kevin, Susan is survived by her children, Kevin Voisine Jr and his wife Megan of Auburn, Michael Voisine and his wife Allysa of Manchester, and Allison Voisine of Manchester; her cherished grandchildren, Bentley, Peyton, Jolie, and Warren; siblings, Deborah Blanchard, Rene Poirier, and Gerard Poirier Jr; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Gerard and Barbara, and sister Linda Tenhave.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and an unwavering devotion to family. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the vibrant and wonderful life that she led. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 31st from 5-8pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1st at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
