Suzette M. (Loftus) deLara, 38, formerly of Manchester, died May 5, 2004 at her residence in Pickens, SC. She was born in Dorchester, MA on May 3, 1966, the daughter of Earl and Margaret Peggy(Anger) Loftus and resided in Manchester most of her life before moving in South Carolina 3 ½ years ago. She was a 1984 graduate of Central High School and had been employed at New Hampshire College prior to moving to SC in 2000. She had currently been employed at Telech, a Division of UPS as a supervisor in Greenville, SC. Family members include her parents of Manchester; a son, Christopher R. deLara of Pickens, SC, her former husband, Kenneth B. DeLara of Easley, SC; a brother, Timothy J. Loftus of Mancheter; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Kristen) Cillo of Saugerties, NY; her paternal grandmother, Martha Loftus of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada; two nephews, one niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 in the Chapel of St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund had been set up at Citizens Bank in the name of her son. Donations may be made to the Christopher R.
