SYLVIA SIDNEY
BETHLEHEM, NH Sylvia Sidney, age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 10th at the Lafayette Health Center, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Sylvia was born on May 1, 1944, a daughter to George and Flossie (Miller) Stygles in Waterville, Vermont. She attended school in Waterville, VT and later moved to Bethlehem, NH.
Sylvias loves in life were her family and friends, her dog, Doc her special baby, and gardening.
Sylvia is survived by three sons, Harry and Anita Sidney of St. Johnsbury, VT, Raymond E. Sidney, Jr. of Bethlehem, NH, and Cris and Diane Sidney of Bethlehem, NH; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, husband, Raymond E. Sidney on March 20, 2008, and two brothers, Raymond and Douglas.
SERVICES Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. A Graveside committal service will be held on Friday, July 18th at 2:00 p.m. in the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, NH with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Above the Notch Humane Society, P.O. Box 456, Littleton, NH 03561.
