Sylvio A. Jodoin, Jr., 72, of 62 Larch Street, Manchester, died November 1, 2003, at Dartmouth Hospital, Lebanon, NH He was born in Manchester, NH on July 30, 1931, the son of the late Sylvio A. and Alice (Normand) Jodoin, Sr., and had been a resident of this area for most of his life. Sylvio was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Jody's TV & Sterio Shop for many years. He was a former Board member of the Goffstown Parks and Recreation Dept. Mr. Jodoin was a parishioner of the Parish of Transfiguration (St. Edmond Church) , a member of the American Legion Post 79 and the American Legion Jutras Post 43, as well as a baseball coach for that Post. He was an avid sportman. Family members include his wife of seven years, Diana (Palvak) (Wallin) Jodoin of Manchester, three sons; Ronald D. Jodoin of Manchester, Normand M. Jodoin of Concord and Robert M. Jodoin of Enfield, his predeceased son, Charles Jodoin, a daughter, Christina Hackett of Pennyslvania, ten grandchildren, two step sons; Ian R. Wallin of New York and Michael Wallin of California, a step daughter, Amy Wallin of Dover, a brother, Lucien "Lu" Jodoin of Loudon, three sisters; Doris Turilli of Dover, Lorraine Foote of Francestown and Carol "Jody" Westerman of Oregon, several aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 O'Clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 11 O'Clock in the Parish of Transfiguration.
