Tammy Mark, 52, of Concord, NH passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
Tammy was a lifelong resident of Concord, born March 6, 1964 to Thomas Gullage and Ruth (Renaud) Higgins. She was a graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1982. Following high school, Tammy worked for several companies in the Concord area. Eventually she decided to follow her passion to work with special needs students at the Christa McAuliffe School, where she spent more than a decade dedicating herself to the care and education of "her kids."
Tammy loved to cook and read and she was a fine connoisseur of old, black and white horror movies. She possessed a beautiful singing voice and a gift for drama, having performed in numerous plays and musicals over the years with Northwood Theater Workshop as well as Sandcastle Productions. She found inspiration in special quotes and song lyrics and often shared them in hopes of providing strength and comfort to others. Tammy also deeply enjoyed spending time on the Beach in Saco, Maine, laying out and soaking up the sun. Described by her family as bubbly and funny with a personality bordering on "Tigger-ish"; Tammy was outgoing, kind and generous, and was one of the most open and approachable people you could meet. She was an exceptional mother who truly lived by her motto of "Peace and Love" in every moment of every day.
Tammy is survived by her only child, her son, Colin M. Mark of Hooksett; her father, Thomas S. Gullage and his wife, Gail of Concord; her mother, Ruth Higgins of Concord; her siblings, Heidi Nielsen of Pembroke, Sheila Sarabia and husband, Tom of Concord, Tom Gullage and wife, Kathy of Concord, Tracy Kay and husband, Tim of Wells, ME, Marla Miller of Concord, Tori Jutras and husband, Eric of Concord, and Troy Stone and wife, Amy of Allenstown; she also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
