Tanya M. May

Tanya M. (Plumley) May, 22, of Readsboro, VT passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at UMass Worcester Medical Center from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born in Greenfield, MA on December 2, 1990, the daughter of Kelley and Scott Plumley.

Tanya was an amazingly strong and faithful person. Her greatest and proudest achievement in life was her family. She was an amazing mother to her two children and a dedicated wife to her husband Kyle. Tanya touched so many hearts and will deeply be missed by those that new her. She enjoyed hiking, riding dirt bikes, country music, playing guitar. Tanya had an amazing voice and loved to sing country music. Her dream was to sing at the Grand Ole Opry.

She is predeceased by her son; Ricky Scott May on April 18, 2013 and her paternal grandfather, Donald Plumley.

She is survived by her husband, Kyle May of Readsboro; her daughter, Gracie Belle May of Readsboro; her parents, Scott and Kelley Plumley also of Readsboro; seven brother, Scott, Jr., Gage, Thai, Sage, Tate, Christian and Cale Plumley all of Readsboro; maternal grandparents, Louis and Nancy Bobee of Readsboro; paternal grandmother, Lyda Sweet of Daytona, FL; her father and mother in law; Timothy and Laurie May of Vernon; two brother in laws, Zak and Cody May of Vernon; as well as many, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 4pm to 7pm at Ker-Westerlund Funeral Home, 57 High Street, Brattleboro, VT. A funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11am at Healing Grace Ministries, 55 Marlborough Rd., W. Brattleboro, VT. Burial will follow at Tyler Cemetery in Vernon.
