THELMA SHEPARDSON LOOP

NORTH HAVERHILL, NH  Thelma Shepardson Loop, age 97, passed away on May 24th at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

Thelma was born on November 14, 1911, a daughter to Herbert D. and Maude (Clark) Shepardson in Fairfax, Vermont. She graduated from Champlain College in Burlington, VT.

Thelma worked at the Lane Press in Burlington, VT until moving to Littleton in 1944, at which time she worked at the Depot Store until it sold. She then ran a private Secretarial Service. Thelma was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving family members include two brothers, Dennison W. Shepardson of Long Island, NY, and Samuel C. and his wife, Virginia Shepardson of Storrs, CT; two sisters, Jeanette and her husband, Merlyn Beckley of Morrisville, VT, and Jean and her husband, Paul Tibbetts of Bristol, CT; her cousins, Francis Clark of Saxtons River, VT, and Bernard and his wife, Betty Clark of Sheldon, VT, as well as many nieces and nephews, her special neighbors and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and her husband, Cedric Loop in 1941.

SERVICES  A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 27th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, VT.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the North Country Animal League, 3524 Laporte Road, Morrisville, VT 05661, or a charity of ones choice.
