Thembalethu Victor Dhliwayo

Themba Dhliwayo, husband to Julie Dhliwayo (née Moses), son to Stella and Lovemore Liberty Dhliwayo, brother to Thandiwe, Rejoice, and Thokozile, a devoted family man, friend, and registered nurse died as the result of a motorcycle accident on June 20, 2021. Themba was born on June 22, 1989, in Zimbabwe, Maondera. He came to live in America permanently in 1999 and resided in New Hampshire with his family. Themba graduated from West High School in Manchester. Subsequently, he received his LPN designation from Salter School of Nursing. He went on to achieve his Associates Degree in Nursing from St. Joseph's School of Nursing and became a registered nurse.

Themba was passionate about people, tending to relationships with care and time. He worked at Genesis HealthCare Corp for 16 years where he was a respected and an often requested healthcare provider. Themba deeply touched the hearts of his patients and coworkers. He had a way of inspiring people to see the best in themselves and encouraged success in others. It's no wonder he ended up in healthcare with a heart as big as his.

He met his loving wife at work and over the next 11 years built a life together filled with love, laughs and never ending adventures. Themba and Julie married on the 25th of September 2020, overlooking the mountains of Waterville Valley surrounded by family and friends. Whenever the two of them were present, the room was filled with love, belly aching laughter, and epic dance moves. He had energy for days and the ability to change the atmosphere in the room with just his presence. Anytime any of his friends see a jet ski they are sure to smile as they are reminded of his free spirit and the trailer photo shoot. His personality was infectious and brought people together. Once you met Themba and Julie, you were instantly a part of their family. He was the friend who was called a brother, the glue of the group, and the guy that no one ever forgot. People remember his heartwarming generosity and eagerness to lend a hand. He loved so many things but his genuine, unwavering and never ending love for Julie, his family, and friends are truly what he will be remembered for.

He leaves behind and will be remembered forever by his many loving relatives, near and far, his loving wife, Julie, his mom and dad, three younger sisters, and Mainini (Aunt) Fortunate (with whom he grew up). He will also be missed dearly by many other loving aunts and uncles, beloved in-laws, friends and workmates.

All are welcome to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 23 from 4:00 - 8:00PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH. A funeral service will take place the following morning at 10:00AM also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave., Manchester.
