Theododore Ted Doucette

Theodore "Ted" J. Doucette, 81, of Manchester, died February 21, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on May 6, 1921, the son of Jeffrey and Meralda (Pepin) Doucette and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He had worked as a machinist at Sanders for 23 years, retiring in 1985. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling and spending time outdoors. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church. Family members include his wife of 56 years, Lillian (Bilodeau) Doucette; three daughters, Nancy Silliman of Windsor, VT, Lucille Lesmerises of Bedford and Elaine Anderson of Contoocook; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 5 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:30 AM in St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
