Theodore Teddy Joseph

Theodore "Ted" Joseph, 77, of 55 Canton Street, died suddenly and tragically in his home February 26, 2003. He was born in Manchester on May 26, 1925, the beloved son of the late Sotir and Konstantina (Pano) Joseph and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. Teddy was respected and loved by all who knew him. Along with his brothers Gury (Gary) and James Joseph, who died in 1998, he owned and worked at Joseph Brothers Market for over 60 years. Among his many lifetime achievements, Ted was a member of the Shrine of North America and was a decorated U.S. Korean War Veteran. He also held positions with Hood Company as a sales and marketing executive for many years. Ted and the Joseph family had been active members of the Albanian and Greek Orthodox Communities thoughout their lifetimes. His sad death leaves behind a loving sister Katherine Pachus of Newton, Ma., two nieces and two nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Monday evening from 4 to 8 o'clock. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a committal service on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in Pine Grove Cemetery.
