Theodore K. "Ted" Reynolds, Jr. 79, of Concord died Monday, February 20th at Concord Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on November 27, 1932, the son of the late Theodore K. and Minnie (Norman) Reynolds. He grew up in Goffstown and lived most of his life in Concord. Ted was a veteran of the United States Air Force, an officer with the Concord Police Department, and a retired New Hampshire State Trooper. In his later years "Bup" enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren attending their sporting events, taking them fishing, and teaching them carpentry.
Ted is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly A. (Croteau) Reynolds; a son, Mike "Putsy" Alosa and his wife Margi of Loudon; two daughters, Diane Welch and her husband David of Concord and Bonnie Richards and her husband Jim, also of Concord; a sister, Shirley Kuhn of Goffstown;13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Daryl S. Alosa.
The family will receive visitors at a Memorial Gathering from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, February 23rd at Phaneuf Funeral Home,172 King Street in Boscawen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 24th at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 South Main Street in Concord. Burial will follow immediately at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Hampshire State Police Benevolent Association at 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03305.
