Theresa L. Gagnon (Bourque), 89 passed away at a local nursing home on 06/12/22 after a long illness. Theresa was a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH and a member of the Catholic War Veterans. She attended St. John the Baptist Church prior to her declining health. Theresa raised her 4 children on the West Side of Manchester & worked as a Nurses Aid at Notre Dame Hospital (now known as CMC). She was unselfish, loving, caring, and thoughtful, but also very comical at times – she loved to make people laugh. After every Holiday family meal, Terry looked forward to playing a card game called ‘31’. Big stakes were at play - a nickel a game, but with inflation we bumped it up to a quarter.
Theresa was the youngest child of Arsene & Josephine Bourque (Martineau) of Manchester. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband , George A. Gagnon and 2 of her children, Ronald Gagnon of Manchester & Gloria MacDowell of Goffstown. She leaves behind 2 daughters, Lucy and her husband Mike McHugh of Overland Park, KS and Denise and her husband Rick Hiland of Albany, NH. Theresa leaves behind 7 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
