Theresa A. Kowack

Theresa A. Kowack, 87, of Manchester NH, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2020 at the Mt. Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester. Born on March 27, 1932 to Harold & Mary (Willette) Martineau, Theresa would eventually marry her best friend and lifelong partner, Edward Kowack, with whom she shared 42 years of faithful marriage.

Theresa was a lifelong resident of Manchester, with deep roots tracing back to her French heritage. She attended the Amoskeag Franklin School and would later enjoy over 45 years of employment as a presser at E&R Laundry.

All who knew Theresa will remember her as a kind, loyal and proud mother who would do anything for her family. Often described as the glue that held the family together, Theresa took immense pride in raising her 6 boys and teaching them sound moral values. She was also a devout Catholic who was devoted to her faith in God, and she especially loved bringing the family together during Christmas and Easter. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Theresa now joins in heaven her beloved husband Edward; brother Harold Jr.; and five sisters Amelia, Barbara, Patricia, Rosalie & Rita. She is survived by her six sons Michael, Dennis, Keith, Timothy, Robert & John; brother Steven; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren extended family and friends. Theresa's family would like to especially thank the wonderful staff at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home for their compassionate care during Theresa's stay.

A small private gathering & service will be held for immediate family in the coming days.
