Theresa A. Taylor, 83, of Londonderry died suddenly on February 11, 2007 at Elliot Hospital. Mrs. Taylor was born on January 14, 1924 in Goffstown the daughter of Ludger and Josephine (Lambert) Martel. She grew up on the west side of Manchester and graduated from West High School. During the war, Terry worked at the local mill where she made parachutes. In 1955, she met and married Richard H. Taylor Sr. and the couple shared 52 wonderful years together. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and had made many beautiful Irish knit sweaters and afghans for her family. Time at the ocean was a favorite pastime. She recently began watching cooking shows where she further developed her cooking skills. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and had no greater passion than to spend time with her family. Terry had a heart of gold and cherished her many friends. She was a cheerful woman who always had a smile to share. She enjoyed playing Bingo with friends, especially her best friend, Arlene Hooper. She was outgoing, full of life, and will be missed by the many lives she touched. Family members include; her husband, Richard H. Taylor Sr.; two sons, Richard H. Taylor Jr. of Weare and Real Martel of Manchester; three daughters, Constance Gagnon of Chester, Kathleen Sands of Manchester and Theresa Pare of Goffstown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew Martel of Manchester, Ovila Martel of Concord and Real Martel of Goffstown; many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Phaneuf Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. To view the on line memorial please visit www.phaneuf.net.
