Therese M.J. Auger, 71, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at her sister’s home, in Manchester.
Ms. Auger was born on January 13, 1938, in Manchester, a daughter of the late William L. and Marie Jeanne (Chretien) Auger. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Auger was employed in homecare with Child and Family Services, in Manchester.
Ms. Auger was a communicant of St. Anthony Parish, and was very active with the many activities at the church. She enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting. She also volunteered at the Palace Theatre.
Family members include; her sister, Anita Boisvert, of Manchester; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, April 5, from 2 – 4 P.M. and in the evening from 6 – 8 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 A.M. in St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and burial will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery, in Manchester.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to VNA of Manchester & Southern NH, Inc., 33 S. Commercial Street, Suite 401, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Ms. Auger.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester.
