Therese Desilets

Miss Therese Desilets, 87, of Manchester, NH died November 7, 2007 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester following a period of declining health. She was born on October 9, 1920 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Oscar H. and Suzanne (Cote) Desilets. She graduated from the American Institute of Banking, NY Chapter. She was a resident Manchester for most of her life and had also lived in Manhattan. Miss Desilets was retired from Manchester Gas/Key Span, where she had worked for almost 30 years. She had also worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Parish where she was very active. She belonged to the Ladies of St. Anne. She was a member of various committees, the choir and helped with CCD program. Miss Desilets did volunteer work for the Palace Theater. She was also active in political campaigns over the years. She is survived by her sister, Rita Desilets of Manchester and friends. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00AM at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St, Manchester. Relatives and friends may meet at the Church at 9:30AM for a time of gathering. Burial will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery.
