Therese “Terry” F. Grenier, 89, of Manchester, NH, was called to her Lord on May 20, 2026. Born in Manchester, NH on February 27, 1937 to the late Alfred and Cora (Martel) Fortier, she was the fifth child of seven siblings. She started her life as a member of the Catholic community at Ste. Marie Parish, where she also attended elementary and high school. The family led a humble and simple life.

At the age of twelve, Terry began working at Notre Dame Hospital’s School of Nursing doing a variety of duties after school and on weekends. At age sixteen, she worked in the hosiery and knitting mills in Manchester’s West Side mills district.

Terry was married in 1955 to the love of her life, Raymond “speed” Grenier. Together for 62 years, they had seven children, including a stillborn child in 1960. In the summer, the family enjoyed spending time at Hampton Beach, Pawtuckaway Park, Clough State Park, the White Mountains, and a variety of local amusement parks. Terry and Ray also enjoyed many cruises with family and close friends.

In 1978, once the children were in school, Terry returned to the workforce, starting with an eight-year career as a purchaser at Prevue Products, followed by twelve years as Office Manager for Dr. Eugene R. Rheault, DMD, until retiring in 2000.

Terry was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62, years, Ray “Speed” Grenier, who died October 21, 2017. She was also predeceased by her beautiful daughters, Donna Brisson and Donna Grenier; her brothers, Robert and Herve Fortier; and her sisters, Doris Compagna and Lucienne Roberge.

Terry is survived by her daughter, Linda Rockwell; four sons, Daniel Grenier and wife Elvira, Steven Grenier and Karen Hayden, Kenneth Grenier and wife Patricia, and Richard Grenier and wife Maribeth; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Normand Fortier and Simone Larochelle; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th from 4PM-7PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 26th at 10AM at Ste. Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Avenue, Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
