Therese Labarre

Therese "Terry" Labarre, 71, of Goffstown, NH died May 15, 2008 after a long illness at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA surrounded by her family. She was born on February 15, 1937 in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Edmund and Rose (Forcier) Harrington. She was educated at St. Edmund's School and Ste. Marie's High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Goffstown-Manchester area. Terry was a dedicated homemaker and mother. Once her family had grown and married, she later worked for Catholic Medical Center and Easter Seals. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Terry cherished her family and their "Sunday Dinners", as the memories and laughter lasted her lifetime. She liked day trips to Hampton Beach with her friends and taking her dog for rides to the lake. Mrs. Labarre was a wonderful cook and an avid fan of the Food Network, where she would gather recipes that she enjoyed preparing for her family. She also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. In Her Life: She is survived by her four daughters, Diane Sullivan and her husband John of Goffstown, Cheryl Moreau and her husband Jeffrey of Bedford, Karen Ferrandino and her husband Frank of Bedford and Michelle Simoneau and her husband Peter of Goffstown; five grandchildren, Sarah and Bethany Moreau, Kayla Ferrandino and Nathan and Drew Simoneau; brother, Andre Harrington of Manchester; beloved dog, Meko and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her dear husband Edward J. Labarre who died on August 25, 2005 and her brother, Edmund Harrington, Jr. There are no calling hours. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00AM at Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory can be made to the Catholic Medical Center, New England Heart Institute, 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102 or Tufts Medical Center, Development Office, 800 Washington Str eet, Box #231, Boston, MA 02111.
