Therese I. LeSieur, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on November 18, 1928 in Manchester, NH, to the late Leon and Henedine (Carignan) Bilodeau.
Therese was a lifelong resident of Manchester, and worked as a bookkeeper for Manchester Tobacco before retirement. She was a strong woman who raised her five children alone after her husband passed away. She was an avid member of St. Edmond's Parish prior to its closure as a volunteer and a Eucharistic Minister.
She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, knitting and reading.
She was predeceased by her late husband Maurice LeSieur; her son Normand LeSieur; her daughter Lucille St. Onge; and brothers Edgar Bilodeau, and Ronald Bilodeau.
She leaves behind her beloved children, son Lionel LeSieur; daughters Denise Bernatchez and her husband Hank Bernatchez, and Claudette Comer; brother Richard Bilodeau and his wife Madeline Bilodeau; sisters-in-law Marguerite Martineau and Jeannette Bourque of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Visitation will be held at Phaneuf Funeral and Crematorium located at 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH, on Thursday February 15, 2018, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Parish located at 9 Saint Francis Way Litchfield, NH on Friday February 16, 2018 at 10 AM. Burial will follow immediately at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
