Therese N. Raiche

Therese N. Raiche, 87, formerly of 277 Coolidge Avenue, and presently residing in Reston, Virginia passed away February 24, 2002. Mrs. Raiche was born in Manchester, NH on October 24, 1914, the daughter of the late Aime and Corinne (Proulx) Normand and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life, moving to Virginia in 1999 to be with her son Bernard and his family. She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary College and worked as a French teacher at Central Hight School. She was a member of the Association Canado-Amercaine and the Manchester Woman's Club. Therese loved golf, bowling and playing bridge with her many friends. She volunteered at the Catholic Medical Center Gift Shop. She was the widow of Marcel Raiche who died in 1966. Family members include a son Bernard Raiche, and his wife Jean, a granddaughter Katherine Raiche all of Fairfax, Virginia, a sister Emilienne Godin of Trois Rivieres, P.Q., Canada, a niece Sylvia Normand Brunelle (wife of Hector Brunelle) of Manchester, and nephews Normand Godin, Denys Godin and Andre Normand of Manchester. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Ste. Marie Church on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
