Thomas George Ferris, 70, of Concord, NH, known to everyone who knew and loved him as Tommy, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2025. Thomas was born in Stoneham, MA, on May 31, 1955, to William and Andrea (Richardson) Ferris. He graduated from Concord High School in 1973, and he was a proud Veteran who faithfully served his country as a military police officer in the Army. He was employed at the Concord Home Depot for the past 21 years and was always recognized by customers and associates as “the guy with the hat.”

Tommy was a fun-loving man who enjoyed traveling and his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and above all, he cherished his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother BJ, his father William Ferris, his mother Andrea Ferris, and his son Ryan Ferris. Tommy is survived by his wife Barbara (Ward) Ferris, his daughter Amanda Whaley and her husband Jeremy, his daughter Vicky Ferris, granddaughter Alysse Whaley, grandson Jaden Whaley, and sister Judy.

Tommy will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering loyalty, and love for his family.

A Memorial Service followed by Military Honors will be held Saturday, August 2nd at 11:00am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. The family respectfully requests that guests who are comfortable doing so, please attend wearing jeans and Harley Davidson or Home Depot t-shirts.
