FRANCONIA, NH Thomas P. Hughes, age 65, formerly of Natick, MA succumbed to a battle with Lung Cancer on Wednesday July 29th. At his side were two dear friends, Holly Haywood and Judy Keefe, who lovingly cared for Tom, as did the whole Franconia community, during his illness.
Tom was born in Natick MA where he spent his first 30 years; the next 30 were spent in Franconia NH where, in between skiing and a few parties, he was a carpenter.
Beside his many friends Tom leaves his sister, Patricia E. Boudreau of Ashland MA, his brothers Edward F. Hughes of Ashland MA, A. William Hughes and his spouse Steven A. Patrick of South Natick MA. As well as his niece Renee Boudreau Gaffney and her family of Thetford Center VT, and his nephews Ryan P. Boudreau and his wife of Ashland MA, Michael M. Hughes of Londonderry NH and Liam Patrick-Hughes of South Natick MA.
SERVICES -- A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday August 8th at the home of Holly Haywood, Route 117, Sugar Hill NH, all are invited.
