Thomas W. Rhodes, 76, of Hooksett, passed away at his residence on June 14, 2022.
He was born in New York, NY on June 3, 1946. Thomas had worked for many years as a livery driver and enjoyed driving many interesting people, often to and from the Manchester airport and Dartmouth College. He was a lifelong writer of spiritually themed poetry, prose, and short stories and was a published author. He was a very active member of Crossroads Bible Church in Candia where he attended services and bible study regularly. He was an avid reader, especially the bible, and spent hours in his car reading scripture when not driving clients. He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Marcia (Williams) Rhodes.
Family members include his sister, Susan Reeves of Marshfield, MA; three nieces, Lisa Wahl of Manchester, Shayna Cullen of Tiverton, RI, and Michaela Kanarek of Wayland, MA; and two grandnephews.
A graveside committal service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester on Thursday, June 23rd at 11:30 AM with Pastor John Peront of Crossroad Bible Church in Candia officiating. A memorial service will take place at Crossroads Bible Church later this month. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
