Thomas A. Rumore

Manchester- Thomas Anthony Rumore, 89 years of age, died on Wednesday February 22^nd, 2023, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown NH.

Thomas was born on October 31, 1933, in Lawrence Massachusetts, the son of the late Thomas Rumore and Nancy (Frascaria) Rumore. Thomas resided in Lawrence Massachusetts and attended Holy Rosary Church and School and then Lawrence High School. He moved from Lawrence Massachusetts to Rye New Hampshire in 1983. He worked for 37 years as a PC Supervisor at Western Electric. He was appointed at Merrimack Valley Club Director and was a member of the Communications Workers of America, Local 1365.

His true passion growing up was bowling and he belong to many leagues in Lawrence and Western Electric. He was also a great softball pitcher in his Western Electric League as well.  Thomas always enjoyed watching the many sports his grandchildren were involved in and loved taking long walks on the beach with his wife Marie.

Members of his family included his son Thomas E. Rumore and his wife Marie; his daughter Kathleen of Seabrook NH; four grandchildren, Amy Guinard of Massachusetts; Meghan Westphal and husband Joshua of Maine; Andrew Norton and Sarah Norton of Massachusetts; and two great-grandchildren Joshua T. Westphal and Adaline Guinard. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Marie (Dineen) Rumore and his sister Beatrice Finochiaro.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9-11am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester NH.  A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will take place at a later date in Central Cemetery, in Rye, NH.
