Thomas C. Soucy, 60, of Swanzey, passed away on January 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on May 20, 1956 in Manchester, NH, son of Jean and Jeanne (Janelle) Soucy. Tom was married to the love of his life, Teah Lumbra-Soucy, in 2003. They were together for 26 years.
Tom and Teah lived in the Keene area where they enjoyed their lives. Tom enjoyed fishing with his little brother, Dave, and especially loved riding his Harley Davidson with friends and spending time with his grandson teaching him all about the stars. 26 years ago, Tom attended and graduated from the Phoenix House (formerly the Marathon House) for a drug addiction, where he later became a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor and opened his own practice. He was also an EMT, Lifeguard, and Adventure Therapy Coach. Tom had such a profound impact on so many lives and had a very special gift of helping others.
Tom leaves behind his loving wife, Teah Lumbra-Soucy; their daughter, Karla Lumbra; their grandson, Loew; his parents, Jean & Jeanne Soucy; his sister, Elaine Lambert and her husband, Bruce; his brother, David Soucy; as well as many extended family members and friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
SERVICES: A gathering will be held on Thursday, January 12th from 4-8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, January 13th at 10:30am at Saint John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH.
A celebration of life will be held on his birthday, Saturday, May 20th, in the Keene area at a location and time to be announced. Family and friends are invited to attend.
