Thomas J. Tellier, Sr., 55, of 73 Maple St., Manchester, NH died February 9, 2000, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester following a long illness. He was born in Woonsocket, RI on November 15, 1944, the son of the late Louis and Winifred (Gilson) Tellier, and had resided in the Fredericksburg Virginia area for eighteen years before moving to Manchester ten years ago. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He had worked for Electrolux until his illness caused his retirement. He was a past member and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4034 in Fredericksburg. Family members include his wife of 35 years, Lucille (Phaneuf) Tellier; four sons, Thomas J. Tellier, Jr., of North Miami, FL, David Tellier of Spotsylvania, VA, Neil Tellier of Woodbridge, VA and Jeffrey Tellier of Manchester, NH; three grandchildren; five brothers, Louis Tellier of Daytona Beach, FL, John Tellier of Belmont, NH, Philip Tellier of Woonsocket, RI, Dennis Tellier of RI and Steven Tellier of Lincoln, RI; two sisters, Carol Pandolfi of RI and Michelle Sabourin, of Pawtucket, RI; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours are at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:30 in St. Marie Church. Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
