Timothy Marschner, Jr. was born on June 13, 1981 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was the oldest of four children born to parents Patricia (Myers) Marschner and Timothy Marschner, Sr. of Londonderry, NH. He died of natural causes related to a brain injury, on April 1, 2023 in Manchester, NH where he resided.
Timothy grew up in Londonderry and graduated in 1999 from Trinity High School in Manchester. At Trinity, Timothy played varsity soccer and kicked for the school’s football team. He excelled academically, earning multiple scholarships to Brown University.
While at Brown, Timothy majored in International Relations. He won an award from the school’s German department that enabled him to study abroad his junior year at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, and he had the opportunity to travel around Europe.
In 2003, during his final semester at Brown, Timothy underwent brain surgery, acquiring a brain injury as a result. Despite this hurdle, he was able to graduate that same year. Following graduation he lived briefly in Brooklyn, NY and Washington, D.C., before returning to New Hampshire. In the years since, he faced numerous health challenges, each of which he took in stride. Despite the challenges he faced, he had a positive outlook on life, a testament to his own strength and the love and support he received from family, especially his devoted father. Timothy ran his own business, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was a lifelong fan of Boston sports teams-- especially the Red Sox-- and was an endless source of trivia. He will be remembered for his remarkable intelligence, strength, and unwavering spirit, and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Timothy is predeceased by his mother, Patricia (Myers) Marschner. He is survived by his father, Timothy Marschner, Sr. and his sisters Alison Marschner, Kristin (Marschner) West, and Kimberly (Marschner) Lambert, five nieces and nephews, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on April 19th, 2023 at 10:30am in St. Mark’s Parish, Londonderry, NH. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Donations in Timothy’s honor may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America.
