Tiziana Nese

Tiziana Nese, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, sadly passed away on March 18, 2024. 

She was born in Italy, where she met her husband, John, and they immigrated to the United States. They raised their four children in Rutherford, New Jersey, and later enjoyed their retirement at the shore. Tiziana loved welcoming family and friends into her home to enjoy delicious home-cooked Italian meals, great conversation with lots of boisterous laughter, and card games late into the night. She had a great love for animals, especially her cherished dogs, Lola and Charlie. Her warmth and spirited nature were felt by all who knew her.

Her children will always remember her as a loving and affectionate mother who created a warm and caring home for her family that was steeped in Italian heritage and traditions. She expressed her love through cooking, knitting blankets and baby clothes, decorating for the holidays, and making every event special. Her grandchildren will always remember Nonna’s singing, her love of chocolate, and her Christmas celebrations with elaborate decorations, villages, and visits from Santa. These cherished memories provide much comfort and are held dear by her children and grandchildren.

Tiziana is predeceased by her husband, John, whom she was happily married to for over 50 years. She is survived by her four children, Daniela, Stefano, Nadia, and Claudia, four grandchildren, and extended family.

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved mother and Nonna. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

There will be a private memorial service held in New Hampshire, where she resided most recently. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tiziana’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org).
