Todd N. Woods, 49, of Manchester, NH died on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH.
Born on October 5, 1973, in Manchester, NH, Todd was the beloved son of Norman E. Woods, Jr. and Linda C. (Lundgren) Orosky. A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, his life touched the hearts of all who knew him as he encountered and bravely faced every challenge that came his way. He was kind-hearted, gentle and passionate about living life as best he could. A childhood cancer survivor, he embraced life, always speaking kindly of others and regarding every person he met as a friend.
After graduating from Merrimack High School, Todd received a degree in Fire Protection from Laconia Technical College and worked in that field for several years. His most recent and proud work life was for Easterseals in Manchester.
He loved dancing, boating and socializing with friends at Pine River Pond in Wakefield, NH and at the Derryfield in Manchester.
Todd’s Mom, Linda, has been his champion and at his side throughout his life and during this seven-month struggle with a new cancer. Other dear members of his family include: Steven and Kimberly Woods of Brentwood, NH; Kenneth Woods of Hampton, NH; nieces Morgan and Chloe Woods and nephews Camden and Colton Woods and step mother Judith Woods. Todd was deeply connected to his entire family … including treasured aunts, uncles and cousins. Todd was predeceased by his father, Norman E. Woods, Jr., and by his stepfather, Ronald G. Orosky.
The family is forever grateful for the exceptional professional care given to Todd by both Dr. Donald Tower and staff at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital at the Elliot in Manchester and most recently by the caring staff at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown. All of these people gave Todd the most tender and best possible care.
