Tony Scott

Tony Scott, 51, of Manchester, passed away on July 26, 2018 after a long period of declining healthy. Born January 16, 1967 in Lumberton, NC, he was son of the late Wardell Scott Sr. and Atelia Hunt. He enjoyed nearly 21 years of companionship with his fiancé, Cathy Oxendine.

Tony was raised in Lumberton, NC, where he lived until moving to New Hampshire in 1998.He was a member of the Lumbee Native American tribe. Tony worked for many years as a self-employed roofer. Tony loved the ocean, especially his trips to Myrtle Beach. His greatest passion and joy was cooking; he loved to host cookouts and social gatherings. Tony loved spending time with his grandchildren and his four dogs.

Tony leaves behind his fiancé, Cathleen Oxendine; his siblings, James Purdy Scott, Stony Scott, Ronald Scott, James Earl Hammonds, Stella Favreau, Polly Ann Hunt and Pamela Ann Locklear; his stepchildren, Tasha Beasley, Billy, Crystal and Timothy Oxendine; 9 grandchildren; and his dogs, Cocoa and Diamond.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Wardell Scott Jr. and his two dogs, Nugget and Lucky.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
