Tracy M. Bond

Tracy Marie (Brown) Bond, 49, of Weare passed away March 4, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous 12-year battle with breast cancer. She was born Sept. 16, 1974 in Millinocket, Maine the daughter of the late James and Joan (Collier) Brown. Tracy graduated from Stearns High School, Class of 1992, and attended New Hampshire College. She spent her adult life in New Hampshire, where she met the love of her life and husband, Rick. She and Rick married in 2006 and together had two children, Connor and Brendan. Being a wife and mother were Tracy’s greatest joys in life. She was a devoted wife to Rick and a loving mother watching Connor and Brendan grow into young men.
 
Known for her outgoing personality, Tracy worked in the veterinary and restaurant industries, most recently as a bartender at Stark House Tavern in Weare, where several co-workers and customers became lifelong friends. As a child and adult, Tracy loved animals and always had at least one pet…often several more. Dogs, especially golden retrievers, were her favorite and in recent years Tracy realized a lifelong dream of breeding golden retriever puppies under the name, “Morgan’s Dream Just Gotta Have Faith” in honor of her dog, Morgan. 
 
Tracy loved spending time with her family and friends. Whether she was singing and dancing the night away at a country music concert, enjoying her happy place at Disney World or anywhere warm with sun and palm trees, challenging herself at the gym or off on a crazy race adventure with her friends, Tracy was sure to make the most of every moment. Her smile, personality and presence lit up the room. Tracy will be dearly missed and always remembered by those who knew and loved her.
 
Tracy is survived by her husband of 17 years, Rick, and her sons, Connor and Brendan; her brother, Brian; her aunt, Bonnie; her cousins, Amy and Jody; and countless close friends, including the Beast Mode Babes and the crew from Stark House Tavern. She was predeceased by her parents and her cousin, John.
 
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held April 6th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Stark House Tavern, 487 South Stark Highway, Weare. All who loved Tracy are invited to join us for a causal gathering in her memory.
